Luke 18 Youth Group:

Every second Friday during school terms the group meet from 7pm – 9pm. Usually at the Manning Parish Centre, 23 Paterson Street, Manning.

Faith development is provided through music, art, theatre and friendship. Six young adults who are committed Catholics as well as a support parent couple facilitate Luke 18 Youth Group affectionately known as “The Point”.

The group aims to reach school children within the local and surrounding area and is associated with the Como and South Perth parishes.

Events for the remainder of this year include:

Music and Drama nights
Mosaic art night
Fun activities i.e. ice-skating.
Meditation
Short film reviews and discussion
Community outreach
End of year camp.

Mission Statement

“The Point” exists to equip students to fulfill their destiny in Christ Jesus through honouring God in worship and growing in faith, while forming new friendships and supporting the local community.

The Luke 18 Group will always welcome extra funding from the wider community as a means of increasing the awareness and profile of the group and to support further endeavors and activities such as the annual end of year camp.
